Did anyone in Tempe think about this "promotion code" and the fact that "MCENVOY" is pretty close to "McDonalds"?

Is this an indication of the what the "new unique american envoy experience" is going to be based on?

This is the fine print from an email promotion I received today!

"Envoy tickets booked between November 1, 2007 - December 31, 2007 and flown between November 27, 2007 - March 15, 2008 are eligible for 20% discount and 20,000 bonus miles when booked with a valid MasterCard card and eCertificate "MCENVOY." "

From what I hear it's less McDonalds, more like hot dog stand.

Oh we'll all be real American and be singing "Ding, Ding, Ding Went The Trolley" (the trolley song) by Judy Garland.

How about a modified version of Mary Poppins' Spoonful of Sugar:

In ev'ry job that must be done
There is an element of fun
You find the fun and snap!
The job's a game

[Sung]
And ev'ry task you undertake
Becomes a piece of cake
A lark! A spree! It's very clear to see that

A gallon of vodka helps the American Experience go down
The American Experience go down-wown
The American Experience go down
Just a gallon of vodka helps the American Experience go down
In a most delightful way

A junior reserve cleaning the nest
Has very little time to rest
While gathering the garbage and papers
Though quite intent in his pursuit
He has a merry tune to toot
He knows a song will move the job along - for

A gallon of vodka helps the American Experience go down
The American Experience go down-wown
The American Experience go down
Just a gallon of vodka helps the American Experience go down
In a most delightful way

[Interlude]

The FA's that fetch the slop
From the galleys to the carts
Never tire of ever buzzing to and fro
Because they take a little nip
From ev'ry mini that they sip
And hence (And hence),
They find (They find)
Their task is indeed a grind.

Ah-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h ah!

A gallon of vodka helps the American Experience go down
The American Experience go down-wown
The American Experience go down
Just a gallon of vodka helps the American Experience go down
In a most delightful way

I say we put Pam Ann in charge... you know, touch the galley, touch the trolley?

The only problem I see is Biddy and Sissy's temptation to lug all 12 of there Harrod's bags in it, to the hotel. But the ones at the Safeway near my house have a wheel locking device to prevent just such things from happening.

LOL You know you live in the ghetto when your local supermarket has the locking wheels. Years ago a roomate and I purchased a TV for our pad in a dicey neighborhood. We got it outside and realized we had no car or even a friend with one. So we wheeled that cart home holding it up on the front two wheels, running so we wouldn't be seen with the cart by the Po-Po, or with the TV by the locals.

Oh, the life of a stew. Who needs a pay raise?

This is a MasterCard Credit Card Promotion. MC stands for MasterCard.

As per the terms and conditions of the promotion you must complete the purchase using a valid US Airways Dividend Miles MasterCard, therefore MCENVOY and MCEUROPE and MCBEACH are all MasterCard related promotions.

I think we're calling it Chuck Wagon.
Let me know how it is. I just got off of a AA PHL-DFW dinner flight. Hot towels, glassware, warm nuts, linens, choice of pasta or chicken, salad, bread basket brought out several times, good wine and then ice cream sundaes. Oh, and mints at landing.

I told the A that I was in shock over the service and he said, oh. I know, we've cutback so much. I said, well, maybe but US is way behind you and he said what, do they use plastic cups and when I said yes he said, omg I was kidding.
