Hi.
You probably saw my thread about "Egging protestors on mill" which was not meant to be serious. I figured other people here could take a joke, but maybe we're not ready for that yet.
I want to apologize to everyone, all coworkers, FFers, etc that have read that and been offended by it. It is not who I am as a person or would I condone anyone else doing what I said. It was just a post of disgust in the way things are going.
I feel alone here. It's probably both apparent in my posts and the responses to my posts. No matter where I post here, there are certain people who have made it clear they don't like me posting. I have, because of that, probaby become offensive. One, my comment about Tempe police, and the fact they carry guns. It was a fact.. not really directed at anyone, but they do! And they speed here too. It's amazing.
The fact that I have similar problems as everyone else here should not make me a target, maybe I was whining myself back in October/November about my life situation, maybe it was the wrong place to vent.. and thankfully my caring co-workers & even management gave me resources to seek help. Maybe I do not fly as often, working for an airline. Also, I do not rip customers off. They do their research (most of the time) before calling me, and I tell them about their destination. Not through brochures, but through knowledge I have gained from the numerous vendor visits in addition to customer reviews and complaints. I'm brutally honest with customers, and YES, I laugh at them when they lodge a complaint about the condition of Riviera in Las Vegas. (They complain because they wanted the cheapest property we carry.. they got it.)
Yes, the company has problems. They probably should be doing more over in Philly to clear up the major issues. They are taking a step in the right direction by hiring more staff in Charlotte.
What will protesting accomplish? What will the outcome be? I'm not trying to say things are perfect. But why is the reaction to the problems in the company to protest?
