Is that number killed by Iraqi terrorists more or less than the number Saddam killed in the same period of time? And remember...we just freed 30 million Muslims in Iraq - thank you president for that.

That's great local 12...let me ask you this...if Bush had just told the truth and said that the reason we must attack Iraq is because he was an evil dictator to his people, how much support would he received from Congress? Would he have received any support from you? After all...it's a country chock full o muslims...and we all know by now how you feel about them...I mean four threads with I dunno how many posts by YOU about how bad Muslims and Islam is...and here we go freeing 30 million of them.

We went to war based on only the intelligence that Bush wanted to hear. Anything that cast doubt on THAT intelligence was ignored.

Yes, there really are millions of people in the middle east who are Christians - however, we just freed a whole bunch o Muslims in Iraq. Muslims who might be swayed because their mom or sister or brother was "collateral damage" in their liberation. Ones who might actually stop and listen to the "America is Bad" talk.

No one knows how many Iraqi civilians Saddam killed, Its not like he kept a log book. This much is known, Iraq is littered with Mass graves attributed to his Brutal Dictatorship and untold numbers are still unaccounted for.

You wish to extend Muslims freedom in Our country, why are you opposed to Freedom in their own country?

I figure that what we need is to get rid of this poor excuse for a president and get someone who might be able to 1)Try to mend the fences that Bush broke down with our allies and 2)Maybe get some of those countries to assist us. You know...reunite the United Nations, which was pretty much tossed out with Mr "I'm a uniter not a divider". Damn...I wish he was under oath when he made THAT claim....I don't think this country has ever been more divided since the civil war.

YOu can thank Bush for the divide. All a good Christian man needed to do was tell the truth. He didn't. He read what he wanted to read, and disregarded the rest. And then he got folks like you to lable guys like me "unpatriotic" because I don't support the war effort. Whither or not Bush is to blame for the divide or not is a continuous issue. The fact remains that IMHO we are being divided needlessly and we are the pawns in this division. Some (I hope not I) allow themselves to be a partisan in the political division. I doubt that ‘any American’ is happy with the division of the American People. If ‘some’ would step back and see how we are being polarized into our political dogma of being against ‘ourselves’ then there might be hope.

Along with other human rights organizations, The Documental Centre for Human Rights in Iraq has compiled documentation on over 600,000 civilian executions in Iraq. Human Rights Watch reports that in one operation alone, the Anfal, Saddam killed 100,000 Kurdish Iraqis. Another 500,000 are estimated to have died in Saddam's needless war with Iran. Coldly taken as a daily average for the 24 years of Saddam's reign, these numbers give us a horrifying picture of between 70 and 125 civilian deaths per day for every one of Saddam's 8,000-odd days in power"
