How many F/As did Ozark have ???? AA/TWA aquisition was nothing like the Ozark merger...

I think there were around 600 OZ and about 4000 TWA FA's at the time, so the ratio was almost identical.

AA,I should say Donald Carty, bought nothing but poison when aquiring TWA. I was against the TWA purchase,as was almost every AA employee,knowing what was going to happen. This was the stupidest,dumbest, airline deal ever made. I personally thought the TWA personel should have gotten slotted in at a ratio dovetail, but after seeing how TWA people are nothing but a bunch of immature crybabies. The APFA did the right thing. The TWU should have stapled TWA to the bottom also. TWA people are the most ungrateful group of whiners in the history of the airlines.

I guess you have not worked with any of our recalls. I have heard nothing but great comments from the LGA base manager and the accolades that are coming in since some of the TWA f/a's have been back to work. Tell some of your colleagues to wear a tie and tuck their shirt's in so they can look like a professional f/a. Not slob's.

Sorry with new legislation no airline will be able to staple without arbitration. No, TWA f/a's are not moving on. Your SCOPE clause will be subject to arbitration and binding. AA f/a's in the future are not protected with your precious seniority. Sorry, we were not bankrupt and had cash on hand. Just wait until it happens to you. KARMA

TWA at the time of the purchase was ready to close it's doors. Plain and simple ...... Not much cash on hand and days from filing BK .
Please ... Stop trying to paint this rosey picture that it was anything but in trouble.
For the record.. I was once layed off by and airline... I started at the bottomt here at AA and worked my way up..
No cutting into the lunch line here... sorry.
