I belong to one of the unions on the property and at one time I actually sat across
the table from the company over at Centreport on the second floor.

To the guys who turn down overtime on 'principle', I'm glad you have
money in the bank and are not working at AA for their money (no matter how
much or little they pay you).

At the end of the day, I have bills to pay and if AA offers overtime, I'm going to
jump at it.
I guess the bottom line is this, if I turn down overtime, is TWU, APA or APFA going to
cut me a check?

I didn't take this job to work holidays,weekends ,and miss part of my kids growing up to make
MRO wages.We have went above and beyond for this company ENOUGH !!!!

Good, bad, or indifferent, I've worked for AA for over 25 years.
I go to work and get a paycheck. If I don't get the paycheck, my family doesn't eat
and doesn't have a roof over their heads.

I need to make sure AA survives this bankruptcy.

I have to believe you've just been fortunate enough to not have been through many challenges in your life, otherwise you'd have more confidence in your abilities. The problem is we've wasted so much of our time with AA believing they would honor our loyalty that we're unaware as to how many companies are out there that would value our skills more than our own company!

The very wage you're making today is a direct result of unions negotiating with carriers-and not blinking.
