I see it's working! The card drive has hit a road block and with Pafca failing after an extensive attempt by several amfa organizers to convience TWU members to switch it's a major blow to amfa and show's what will happen if amfa was to ever get enough valid cards signed.

The intimidations and deceit amfa is famous for is showing by the lack of representation at the carriers they have a presence. Amfa needs to show what they are made of and so far have failed in every respect.

Our goal is to obtain 60% of the Craft and Class of Mechanic and Related, and at this time, our estimate of that number, with 'elbow room' is approximately 9,634 cards.

Using that number, at this time, we are about 87.0% to our goal, or approximately 52.2% of our Craft and Class.

1) the only members of the class and craft of Maintenance & Related at American Airlines are those individuals employed by AA within the Continental US; and,

2) on the Title I, Title II, Title IV, Tech Services, and SimTech System Seniority Lists or holding recall rights to same; and,

3) the TWU would legally stipulate that they would join the AMFA in filing briefs opposing the attempted inclusion by AA or AMR of any employees not aforementioned as holding/retaining positions within the respective Title Groups listed above.

You know the number to call. If your words match your sack, pick up the phone and let's put the ball in play. Anything short of the agreement above tells us that AA and their favorite corporate union have agreed to sandbag any filing through the inclusion of AA/AMR employees NOT CURRENTLY HOLDING AN ACTIVE OR RECALL POSITION TO AN AA TITLE I, TITLE II, TITLE IV, TECH SVC, or SIM TECH position.
