United Mechanics vote on new contract extensio

Other than the links above, the teamsters haven't, as of yet, provided the actual language from the company proposal - its laughable to see the teamsters crying about outsourced work when they first swore to stop outsourcing when they were campaigning, only to now face plant having failed to stop damn near everything.

Maybe we all need to face reality. Americans today are lazy and want easy jobs. I hope the Trump Administration tackles this problem. Trump should bring in Mike Rowe as an ambassador to pushing for Trade work and Trade schools.

Third qtr 2025 profit 1.3 billion, 2nd qtr was 1 billion. Flight atts still dont have anything, they are 5 or 6 years late with nothing in the worst cost of living increase ever. No mechanic contract either although they are getting $3.49 reset Dec 1 due to being behind delta and american.

Nice to see the profits increasing again.
Don't let the company try and use this reset as the first raise of the contract, it's actually a reset from the original contract, but I am willing to bet the company will claim that you guys just got a raise with the reset from last contract. Pretty sure our airline would try the same thing just to avoid or install a much lower first raise due to the reset. Keep us posted pls.

Couple months ago the IBT airline division disbanded the negotiating committee and took over the negotiations. Last week they told the members the company gave a last best final offer and IBT is not endorsing it but they are going to send it to the members for a vote.

Typical IBT rhetoric. I still can't believe you guys haven't fired them yet. They wouldn't be in this ordeal if they would have stayed with AMFA as the membership controls everything and especially nego's on the CBA @ the table.
Any idea what triggered them (IBT) to bringing it out to the membership even after they didn't endorse it?? Kind of an odd move.
