Hey employees...I am traveling on LH to FRA out of PHL. I've flown them before and wasn't upgraded, and that was with a total of 67 people on the 340. However I read in the ETM that a reciprocal upgrade agreement is apparently now in effect. Has anyone had luck with this?

Thanks!

The only success I have had with LH ( with regards to an upgradeat least in FRA) was to have a full coach and be dressed properly. Otherwise, you won't ever get up there. Anyone know different?

I will try to read it to tommorrow. I read the LH listing two weeks ago for a friend and it was not on there. If there is a reciprocal upgrade agreement this is VERY new and long overdue.

Good news since UA has enjoyed this priviledge for a long time and US had most of those ZED agreements in place during the worst of times. Hopefully we can add the rest of Star to the low zed list.

Since it is very new unless someone has gone very recently then you might end up being the first to tell us how your chances of getting an upgrade are.

It was all the way at the bottom of the ETM. I think I'm going to print it out and take it to the gate with me. It can't hurt.

Thanks for the responses.

Why would USAirways upgrade a LH employee for free when management tells us not to upgrade our own employees of free?

It's reciprical. They upgrade on us for free and we on them. IF I am able to upgrade though, the Zed fare is cheaper than purchasing an envoy upgrade.

I'm guessing they offered? Who knows.
