Aren't you glad you voted yes? Dave is standing behind you screaming, Squeel like a pig!!! Who's your daddy?!

Its so strange because we are so busy in reservations right now. I could maybee see this action if we were giving out VTO like crazy but we are not, something tells me that there was little or no thought behind this decision. Its so bad now that we can't even have a team focus meeting with the whole team, we have to take only 4 to 6 at a time. But wait its ok to take 250 on Nov 2....

He does not care!!! Who cares how long these people have to wait. I hope Dave has a message ready for the public to listen to while they are on hold! HELLO THIS IS DAVID SIEGEL, YOU MAY EXPERIENCE A LONGER THEN NORMAL HOLD TIME. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. ONE OF THE FEW REMAINING RESERVATION SPECIALISTS WILL BE WITH YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IF YOU GET TIRED OF HOLDING PLEASE VISIT US AT USAIRWAYS.COM WHERE WE OFFER LOWER INTERNET RATES. IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR FLIGHT PLANS, AND YOUR FLIGHT LEAVES BEFORE WE TAKE YOUR CALL JUST HANG UP AND CONSIDER YOUR TICKET A DONATION. FINALLY, I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR CALLING AND IF FUTURE PLANS INCLUDE TRAVEL WE HOPE THAT YOU WILL ONCE AGAIN CALL BACK AND HOLD. you are caller number 250 in queue...........................1 hour later DEAD LINE

I don't understand these numbers if INT has the most agents why is PIT taking the biggest hit? Does anyone know the reasoning?

Seeing that I'm one of the agents on the list I can tell you the numbers were based strictly on hire date in the res classification...So the last and most agents hired in Res were in Pittsburgh...11/99 was the cut off...It wasnt office specific...And on another note I voted yes on the contract and felt there was better protection for us being furloughed versus no contract and no recall rights...So at worst I'll enjoy the holidays off and continue to search for another career if necs...But look forward to being recalled if that happens as well

N513AU, Without indulging your tactless garbage. Yes!!, I'm glad I voted Yes...and I'm sure those of us with our thoughts collected , are still happy with the outcome. Without a Yes , we would not be moaning about wages and benefits. We would be fighting over who broke in line at the Un-Employment Security Commission Office in towns all over the country. You need to wise up my angry friend. The Industry..and the Job Market is in the toilet...and fighting an up-hill battle would have left us all with absolutely nothing to look forward too..or have any slight hopes about. If you used your thought process for more than spreading anymosity and discord?...you might find time to see the forrest past the tree's. I'll expect a Thank You for me having the foresight to vote Yes...thus creating some degree of assurances that you will have a job you don't deserve to go to on your monday. Spare me the tactless and ill concieved replies...Go to work...or Quit. The options are now very simplified for you.

ChairPrefRes,

I would like to express my appreciation to you and all your colleagues in the Chairmans Department, as well as my best wishes to you and those of your colleagues who will be affected by this latest cutback.

You folks represent the absolute best in your industry. If I can be of any assistance to you please don't hesitate to send a PM to my attention.

My best wishes to all RES agents who will be affected by this unfortunate news.

One thing to keep in mind, if the contract agreement did not pass, we still would be laying off in RES. Keep in mind I did state that if the contract passed, which it did, would be only the tip of iceberg for us in the CSA group. I like most other of my fellow res agents now have a job to do, and that job is to make sure those furloughed get to return ASAP.

Athena,[BR]I hear that in Jan. there will only be 9 main line gates and only 80 main line flights in PIT.[BR]I'm assuming that all of the other gates will be used for Mid Atlantic flights.[BR]It appears to me that PIT is becoming mainly an RJ Hub.[BR]This information was brought to me from a line mech. so I don't know if it true or not.[BR]He also told me that we only are using 17 gates for main line starting in oct.[BR]I hope this answered your question.[BR]
