But PayPal still requires one to have either a credit card, debit card, or a checking account--and there are some Kettles out there that have none of the above (really--not joking here!) :shock:

If you don't have at least a checking account (with money in it), you've got bigger problems, and you shouldn't be flying!
 
With the amount of Pax buying online these days, this should be a plus for our sales. Why all the negativity? I like the security of PayPal online and it's not just for auctions. Many Airlines and Major Online Sellers have been using it for years now.
 
You know what? I can't believe any of you would even #### about something as positive as this! It goes to show that so many are soo bitter that even a small piece of good news is not good enough. You know what I say to you folks, find a new line of work already!!! It has become apparent that nothing the company would do can gain your approval. That to me signals that you need change. If the company continues to disappoint you and you have lost all faith, LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of us have been through the ringer and some of us still love the job and want to see things through. Before any of you attack me, I have taken the rounds of forced paycuts, I have worked with fewer people on my ramp teams, I have seen a lot of my friends come and go, but it is my decision to stay and make the best out of my position. I still care about OUR CUSTOMERS, I still care about my remaining co-workers, and most of all, I still love my job. JEEEEEEEEZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!

You have moron's who bash management for doing something convenient for the client like allow PayPal.

If you were not aware PayPal can be used for a lot more than just paying for your EBay auctions, numnutz!
 
My negativity is based on the current website. Payment options should be secondary to allowing folks to actually buy tickets on your website.

The post was not aimed at you passengers, it was aimed at my fellow employees that constantly B*&%$ about everything and anything the Company does. I think this PayPal announcement was a small bit of good news. Sorry 'bout the website thingy, I tried to book a revenue ticket for my Aunt last week and ran into the same roadblock. I kept getting to the credit card screen and it locked up. I agree this is a problem. Maybe someone will read this and get the message.

This really is a situation where people are just complaing for the sake of complaining. Who cares -- this is great news. Money is money. Now what they need to do is find a way of going to a cashless onboard system for headsets, liquor, etc. Anyone care to guess the jump in revenue if US only took prepaid coupons for on board sales and accepted debit and credit -- no cash? I bet it would be enough to upgrade to SABRE, at least.
