When asked how he liked working for the company, he said “no one likes working with the companyâ€￾. He said given the alternatives it was “not so badâ€￾.

Asked how he liked the Airbus, he said that he liked it right up until the accident.

It isn't like it was the aircraft failed.

I don't know but if I were him I would be very, very happy with the Airbus. He went through a hull loss and everyone survived even through it was a water landing. That is pretty awesome.

I think he meant something different.

and, btw, it was not the airbus system that saved all those lives but the experience level of the crew. Going for the "safe" option instead of the "possibly" one demonstrates a level of maturity not evident to me in many less mature venues.

Thanks for the new link. After reading this, I have even greater admiration for the crew than I already had.
There was NO TIME available. So many distractions, Ground prox, wind shear, TCAS on top of trying to restart. Just amazing.
