I question anyone who says PHL is a good airport for connections. Taken as a whole, PHL isn't as bad as some say, but not for connections. There are MANY better airports connection-wise. Saying PHL is good because it's "one long terminal" is ludicrous. Granted, I would argue PHL is better than say ATL, but PHL is certainly not better than CLT (for example).
