From what I hear they offer shuttle (bus) service from RDG to PHL.

Any talks of RDG to PHL, PIT, DCA, or CLT?

Highly doubt it. RDG was just within the limits of EAS but was able to keep service there for years. It got moved to LNS a few years back as LNS meets the EAS distance limit, and I believe due to a few other political fallouts with the then-current RDG airport management.

Indeed, they do offer shuttle service to PHL.

RDG had service to PHL and PIT. PHL was suspended first due to the fact that they said its too close to operate flights, yet they still fly ABE-PHL. Then they suspended RDG-PIT flights and moved it to LNS because they are EAS qualified. Air Midwest/Mesa flies to only EAS routes with their B-1900's. That was the mostly the problem with RDG. We had DH8's and D38's on the PIT leg for years and they downgraded it to Air Midwest's B-1900's. That is when the passengers avoided that plane and opted to drive to PHL/BWI/ABE and MDT. RDG is capable of having US Express flights out, but the area became accustomed to better aircraft than the B1900D's. RDG-PHL flights were often cancelled during bad weather. With US downsizing PIT, I don't see no service for awhile. Maybe a couple of flights to CLT on US or DCA. CLT would have to be an RJ. RDG has a runway of 6350'. UA had service to IAD back in the early '90's but US undercut their fares and UA couldn't compete then. Plus the UA flights never had good connection slots either. I would think maybe CO would do a CLE flight and NW a DTW flight. It's a shame cause RDG just remodeled their terminal just before they pulled out, We build it, US leaves. US has a tendency for that I guess.

Allegheny used to fly a F-27 in there up until the early 90's then Mesa came in and screwed them. US Air had a 737 in there for some charters too.

Mesa came in the mid '90's. The F27 was gone then someone came in with EMB 120's for a couple years then PSA/JIA with the D38 in 1995 to 1997, then Allegheny with their DH8. Mesa came in the mid '90's for the PHL service and in the fall of 1999 they took over the PIT runs. Prior to Mesa we had those flying boxcars SH3 and those SH6 on the PHL runs. I know in 1994 and in Jan 1995 on the PIT run was the EMB120. Cause in Oct 1994 I was flying back from Las Vegas and connecting in PIT and the EMB120 broke down. This was just about a month after a 737 crashed near PIT. And in Jan 1996 I was returning from California and we were the first flight to arrive in RDG after 3 days, and that was the Dornier328. 3 days after the Blizzard of January 6/7, 1996. US had a 737 charter here for many years that Boscov's ran. They switched to WN a few years back, I don't know the reason for that.
