VBRO's given today to FSC's and Agents

Today the VBR's were given out...

Very few "allowed" to go from what I was told...out of 70 agents that put in they only gave 20??...No OC's or Crew Chiefs awarded...40 out of 250 clerks awarded???

So much for not wanting people on the street and "creating" vacancies.......???

At least if dfw would have created that many vacancies they could have absorbed almost all of the layoffs from other stations...

Supposedly all stations were encouraged to let everyone take it so as not to put employees on the street but now seems like some will get the street..instead of DFW being an option for vacancies now people will be sent to bump in MIA, JFK, MSY, LAX..and the bumpees will be screwed...as usual. Sad, Very Sad.

Who in there RIGHT Mind would go to DFW, if they got displaced from places like BOS/DCA/IAD/ORD/MSP/SEA,..just to name a few

I'd take JFK(and ALL those Wide Bodys)...Anyday than to go to "knee-burn/slipped Disc heaven", officially coded DFW !

I wonder what the temperature was there today ?

Oh I understand completely ...but with all the bumping I know I'd rather be in DFW than on the street..and some people it makes more economic sense to go to DFW rather than JFK or MIA...and if someone is bump from JFK or MIA....they should have had vacancies available to them...or if DFW had allowed more vacancies then there wouldnt even be JFK or MIA on the list as being available to bump people out.

All Cuz dfw was prolly afraid that they'd have to pay some OT on the transiton week....
