Vote Republican or Die!

I think it very appropriate as this is exactly what has/is happening to the American people with this current administration...directly from the Nazi playbook.

IF that is in fact so then it's right out of the Dem's playbook enlisting the likes of Ed Asner to scare elderly that if they voted Republican they'd lose all their social security and now you've got Michael J. Fox going on TV pretty much saying to vote Democrat to stop parkinsons disease.
God Bless MJFox and I love him as an actor and hate he's going through this awful disease but there is no proof whatsoever that stem cell research will cure any disease let alone parkinsons and to politicize it is just awful on the Dems part using him like that. They should be ashamed but as we all know they have no shame.

I noticed you failed to mention Rove and his shenanigans in the 2000 primaries against McCain. He had leaflets sent out a few days before the Carolina primary stating that McCain had a black child out of wed lock. Ends up the child was adopted out of Africa by he and his wife. I know I know, the leaflets were not technically put out by the RNC but if you believe Rove did not know and condone that, I bet you believe the former head of the CIA had no idea arms were being traded for hostages too. I suppose the dems taught you to eat your own? Please give it a rest. Neither party has a lock, much less a toe hold on morality or honor.

I still do not see the similarity between social security and calling ones patriotism in to question but everyone has different standards.

Too bad Nancy Wife-of-your-"greatest"-president-ever has also politicized the stem cell issue. Seems that being ignorant about diseases and what it takes to possibly cure them can make you be against anything. If you're not affected by the issue, don't crap on all of those that are deeply and personally affected...on either side of the aisle. ARe you saying that Nancy Reagan is a horrible democrat?

Did you know that Michael Fox contributed to that representative and the "spot"? If he has the funds to contribute to a "TV spot", who better to represent those with Parkinson's the need for Stem cell research to "FIND a cure?

Michael J. Fox Is Not Infallible;
He's Just the Latest Victim Used by the Democrat

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: One of the big issues in the Missouri Senate race -- as you know, we touched on it yesterday -- is the Michael J. Fox commercial which is entirely misleading and which is in itself an attack ad, and it is filled with disinformation about embryonic stem cell research and how Jim Talent wants to criminalize it. Embryonic stem cell research -- and, by the way, Fox is doing similar commercials in Maryland now for Ben Cardin against Michael Steele. But embryonic stem cell research is currently legal and completely unrestricted in both Maryland and Missouri and in the vast majority of other states. It's largely personal and institutional ethics that keep scientists from cloning research.
So we'll talk more about the Michael Fox situation because, as I knew yesterday, the Drive-By Media, including things like Inside Edition, are all panting (panting) to make something out of this that isn't. We will address that, but Michael J. Fox entered the political arena long ago. He became a US citizen in 2000.

He's from Canada.
He was active in the Kerry campaign in 2004 and he's entered the political arena again with this series of commercials for Ben Cardin in Maryland and Claire McCaskill in Missouri. One of the tactics the Democrats have -- and they've used this consistently. They bring forth people who they think are victims for the purposes of exploiting them, and when you bring forth -- for example, if you're talking about embryonic stem cell research, and you want to convey the notion that the Republicans are opposed to it, and in effect they're for people having Parkinson's Disease. Make no mistake that's what the intent is.
Then you bring forth a person who's suffering the disease, and you illustrate the disease and the ravages and the suffering on TV to create sympathy and infallibility, because you're not supposed to be able to attack somebody or criticize somebody in any way or in any regard if they suffer from the disease. It's considered cold-hearted and cruel. What's happening here is that Michael Fox has entered the political arena with his attack, which includes false information about Senator Talent and Michael Steele in Maryland. That's fair game, and I am not going to follow the script that says we're not allowed to comment on the things said by participants, "victims," what have you, that the Democrats put forth as infallible in the middle of a political campaign.

That's your best shot. God's word in indestructible although constantly being gnawed on by freaks we see posting here, of course yourself included.
That's a line of crap. I know her son and at 16 he told her where to get off and 19 he is miraculously going to obey his momma, right! Satan is alive and well on planet earth, look here for proof.

No, it is not my best shot by far. But I do believe that you are a nutty zealot and your ranting only proves my hypothesis. Why not give us numerous quotes from any testament you wish on the position of being ‘deceitful’ and a ‘liar’.

True, Satan is here on earth and I believe that you only need a mirror to find him.

Luke 6:41
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

True, Satan is here on earth and I believe that you only need a mirror to find him.
Like blasphemy of the Holy Spirit the only unpardonable sin because it carries the absolute lie of which you are the captive snookered fool doing Satan's bidding with your sad pathetic moronic leftist rants. Your family has a Big “Sâ€￾ stenciled on the address label where your proud father and mentor reside.

In comes down to two sides, Good/Evil. Debating this fact is a waste and only for fools and deceived who are forever lost heading to destruction. Keep bowing to your father, he will still hate you and reward you with unimaginable eternal horror.

Yet another judgement at the gates passed down by our friend, St. Peter 700. Thanks, 700, for making sure that Heaven isn't overcrowded...though it will be lonely when you are the only one there.

I think you owe me a major apology.

My son is the sweetest kid, kind, polite, and good natured. He's never disrespectful. You never knew my son on any level; in any capacity; but yet you lie on this forum. You were never going to have an opportunity to know my son, or my family. If you don't feel shame, you should.

I never said anything about your family, your son, or wife. I would never stoop so low.

You don't see the similarity of the scare tactics that have been waged? Would you not agree having Ed Asner calling elderly people in Florida telling them their Social Security will go away if they vote republican is a scare tactic?

No one is crapping on anyone with parkinsons or any other disease. No where is it proven that stem cells will cure anything and there is already research going on to see if full blow stem cell research will do anything at all so why rush into something that hasn't been either proven or disproven. Let the research take place and see where the cards fall then make a decision but you libs can't wait for that.
I never said Nancy Reagan is a horrible democrat, you did. Once again you're trying to put words in my post that aren't there. What I said was politicizing stem cell research and having MJ Fox go on television pretty much saying in order to stop parkinsons you needed to vote democrat is a stretch in the best circumstances but in your world apparently it's business as usual. Don't let those pesky facts get in the way after all you can change them anytime you want right?

The comparison that you missed - or chose to avoid - is that Fox and Mrs. Reagan have exactly the same position on this issue and have both campaigned for government funding for embryonic stem cell research. If you slam one as being horrible for politicizing this issue, then you slam the other. That simple.

As for your statement - Let the research take place and see where the cards fall then make a decision - that's the Democratic position!!! The problem is that Bush and the Republicans in Congress are blocking the research. As I am sure you know, government grants have a lot of influence on the research done by universities, not-for-profit institutions and the for-profit private sector (i.e. pharmaceuticals). They're all chasing government dollars. If the grants are for heart disease, breast cancer and diabetes, but not stem-cells - guess which diseases will get the lion's share of the research done.

both campaigned for government funding for embryonic stem cell research.

If embryonic stem cell research shows so much promise the private sector should be going all out. You know, it's not illegal to do. If some miraculous cure is found then someone could make billions.
