Washington Post Column

My favorite quote is:

And it spent $1 million on a consultant, who recommended that US Air change its name to . . . US Airways.

Wasn''t that a brilliant way for an ailing company to spend a huge sum? Especially when 97 percent of the world still calls the carrier "US Air" anyway?

think back genius....if you remember, the airline wasn''t "failing" when the name was changed....i think the stock was selling around $80/share back then.

Maybe, but paying such a princely sum for such an obvious move, is one of the reasons why our stock soon fell to eighteen dollars/share!

Wow..awesome article...often times the little things we do on a daily basis are overlooked....it's nice to know that someone really does notice.
