This may have been explained before, but I thought previously, the website showed code share flights. For a couple of city pairs I was looking, US doesn't show the code share, but I can goto orbitz or travelocity and buy a US ticket on UAL metal.......something up with that??? (besides the obvious of Tempe IT being screwed up?)

I honestly don't know why UA tolerates that US does not show UA codeshare flights...I could only book them if I called the US1 desk. I think Piney said he has found some international codeshares on the website, but I have never seen any since the changeover. More customer disservice by the Tempe morons.

And of course the situation, where UAL sells US seats quite a bit cheaper than what US sells them for, how is that done. See lots of UAL ticket stock at the gates.........who's making out on that deal..... The particular flight was a non-stop from RSW to ORD. UAL just started that service with a 170, american has a md80. Both travel portals have it, US doesn't serve it....BUT BUT BUT, if they had it on the website, they could offer N/S service...instead you have connection and double connects offered, all for 200.00 more than what the non-stop is shown for at the travel portals...wonder where the money will go with that choice. (not to mention SWA is 300 or so cheaper for the all in for 2 people to go nonstop. (albiet that's from tampa, but same damn difference flying out of SW florida...)

I can understand, that listing the code share on the flights we do, there's something in the deal that if someone picks the UAL flight, they keep a bigger piece of the revenue, or they keep all the revenue flown on their metal, and vice versa or some crap. But hell, on those flights which we don't operate, the N/S and such, why not offer people the seat on UAL, you incur no expense, except the processing of the ticket, and you get a kick back for it, and free up your seats for other customers...... I guess it makes too much sense.

Maybe I should have gotten an MBA, gone into management, get a couple of DUI's, kill the brain cells with who knows what else, and I'd be able to erase such thought from my mind....

Funny, I checked the opposite, a flight US operates, but UAL doesn't. UAL website brings up the site no problem. And fortunately they are 70.00 more expensive then US charges for their own flight.

What I did find interesting though, I just found out that Chatauqa is operating EMB-175's for US???? That's strange every 175 I've been on, has stated Republic. But the mind trust in Tempe, have put a CHQ icon and listed the 175 flights as CHQ operated........guess they don't really know who all is flying what aircraft for them.
