WestJet CEO ... described negotiations with the carrier’s Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) as “contentious” and denigrated the Union for seeking American standard terms and conditions of employment for its members.

Sounds like they're playing hardball and WestJet's calling their bluff. They want US terms and conditions. How is that "poor representation" ??
The TWU would already be on their back peeing themselves, trading away wages for more jobs....
Would a real unionist side with AMFA in their fight to keep good wages and working conditions, or would a real unionist be applauding the potential loss of jobs simply because it was another union who lost those jobs?
Sometimes I think I'm more in line with unionist principals than some of you TWU whiners and fanboys are....
