I believe US and NW will merge in about 18 months. I also think that CO and DL will happen a little before this.

My prediction is that UA combines with DL. UA has wanted DL for years.

AA will combine with NW - AA has coveted NW's China and NRT ops for years, and had serious merger discussions with NW in 2000.

The parts of DL and NW not wanted by UA or AA will end up at CO.
