I wouldn't expect to see any changes for either airline at any airport until the fall at the earliest when the merger is approved.

Don't you mean "after the leases are
rejected on all duplicate properties and
airport facilities when US exits CH11?"
I would expect the process to move along
quickly, like in 3 months or less. The DOT,
DOJ, and ATSB will all approve the merger
without much resistance, and all that will
remain is for US to get their ducks in a row
for an orderly exit from CH11. Once that
happens, CCY will be closed and any and
all duplicative management functions at US
will be transferred to Tempe, or eliminated.
Gates and other airport facilities will be
promptly consolidated as soon as US
emerges from BK.
The only lengthy part of the process will
be intergation of the union represented
work groups and the FAA flight certificates.
As they said it will be a 2 or 3 year process,
there should be no surprises.
