I personally am heading to CLT, Right now I feel just like our customers and it would be absolutely crazy for me to go to PHL and deal with the inequities of our management and that inferior airport and all of the crap that goes along with it...

Just the sheer thought of transferring to PHL makes me cringe, and that is exactly how our customers feel....

With nearly 25years of flying, I've been lucky until now about seeing a fight in the galley. In October, I was caught in the middle of 2 different fights between the girls on 2 separate trips. It even continued in the hotel van where the captain broke it up. Both confrontations happended between a PIT and a CLT female f/a. It's the North versus the South all over again. I hope this isn't an omen of more fitghts with more PIT girls. A lot of it was just the northern "tone' which was taken wrong. I grew up in the north but have forgotten how blunt some people can be. Pit f/a's might fair better in Phl or bos or dca.

I think you will enjoy CLT and I don't blame you for not wanting to come to PHL. I am based in PHL and while I enjoy working with my fellow crewmembers, I hate working out of the airport. At least you will be working out of a nice airport that has wireless. Our crew room is so smelly and disgusting and we have criminals who work here too. As far as I know, CLT doesn't employ criminals like PHL does. :down:

Criminals are this airlines future, drunk criminals at the top, hiring low bid criminals and gangsters to man the ship at the bottom. It may not help to keep a hand on your purse, the criminals at the top will just not allow you to put anything in it.

If I was living in PIT, I think I would xfer to LGA (Screw PHL)
Lga, though not a good place to have to live(for a lot of reasons), but I keep hearing that, that base is a good one to work from, because of LOW seniority, pretty good co-workers, and a LOT of flts. to JS on(LGA/PIT)

LGA is a great place to work from a people (co-workers) standpoint. The biggest downside for LGA (at least historically...I haven't been based there for some time) has been the commutability of the trips. Since most have started early in the morning and/or arrive late at night, even with all the flight availablilty, there are none that will get you there in time for check-in for your trip, and/or your trip arrives after the last flight home has left. This means there is an added expense of either a crash pad or very expensive hotel rooms. Neither is a happy option, and that is what keeps the seniority low.

They told us that our tentative start date in our new cities for the ramp is Jan. 21st---but we all know how they operate and it may end up being later, who really knows....
