I have noticed a lot of internet advertising. Every time I go on line there is an US Airways advertisement. Anyone else notice?

2B (Barry Biffle) and I had discussed the effectiveness and I was told that internet advertising was the most cost effective form of advertising for an airline.

Television only works when you have the budget to be more or less "on" for a very long time and on a regular basis.

Yup, easier to click on a link than pick up the phone.

Are you talking about porn sites?

I could envision a US sheep campaign. " US ain't that baaad! "

Can’t say that I’ve noticed any US ads, but then since I use an AirCard from Sprint, my IP address consistently shows me as being in various locations around MCI, even though I could be in any other place in the country.

I only mention this because when I travel outside the States, and buy WiFi access locally, I notice all kinds of different ads targeted to the market I’m in.

If US was smart, and going after the business traveler, they would turn off the regional filters so people like me that travel with wireless access cards from cellular companies would see this advertising.
