Leaving, but much sooner, I'm done!

It's funny, I came to the board tonight out of habit, but my heart's not in it at all! I thought I might enjoy looking in from the outside, but I'm just sooooo glad to be out, that I find that I don't have any fire in me to be here. (For those of you that say great, more power to you, you win)

As I stated in another post, I do wish the best to my fellow (past) employees. While this will be my last post, as I find that I have already moved on mentally, I would like to think that everyone understands that my postings have always been meant to make one think, good or bad. I realize that they have not always been positive, but then again, many thought provoking ideas are not.

To end... May U survive, I know we as individuals will.

Wow, as of THU 1030 pm est, 22 leaving, 7 stays.

Speaks volumes..and volumes..mgmt gets their most fervent wish granted, in spades.
:mf_boff:

imamec wish you the best....along with all who departed due to retirements they really didn't want, along with those forced out. I retired a couple of months ago, and strangely I haven't missed it. You probably will return to this site to look and try to keep up with how things are going. It's in the blood. You might even get upset enough to post again! Like me, you still have some friends left.

The results for CWA might be a bit skewed if you're talking EO before 4/30. We've been informed that EO approvals will be posted mid-April and I really don't think that everyone that put in for month number 1 (or 2) will get it right away. I know there's no push for any new hires at our station and fully 25% of the agent/CSS workforce put in for EO. By the way, we've been told of reductions in work force for the May schedule since we're losing a bunch of mainline flights, but rumor has it we'll gain the flights back in June (I assume without any increase of staffing). Anyone else hear of station cuts due to the May sched?

My STATION on the ramp will be closing they (company) say by the end of June.

Out of 10 full timers one may go to Phl.

Out of 10 part timers one may go to Phl.

We are tired of the company and union JUNK.

TIME FOR ANOTHER LIFE OUTSIDE OF USELESSAIRWAYS

well we got our paperwork and yet we still dont know when our final day will be but according to the forced out paper, it states that it will be no sooner than may 2, 2005 and completed no later than june 30th 2005
how in the world can this airline give the crap out but without the date

We heard that at our station, no one can expect EO till after the summer. Said that would result in staff shortages if everyone that opted for EO took it at the same time. Seems the company can go with staff shortages when THEY want it, but not when WE want it.

now you wouldnt expect the company to play fair russian roulette with you now would you?? of course the company will try to keep you and your fellow coworkers and they probably think that the longer you folks stay that they would get these new scabs trained. 😀
