It would be wise for this company to hire former aircraft mechanics who possess most of the skills this work demands!
 
That's a pretty fast turn around. I wonder how long that was in negotiations. If I was living there, I'd get out of the airline industry and try to get into that.

Overhaul base also occupied by Frontier Airlines, Jet Midwest (parts company), and Smith Electric.

Don't get your hopes up Phat!------ We still don't know what they'll pay for these 200 jobs! But my guess is you'll have to put up with them a little longer! 😉
 
Not only is this good news for Kansas City and the former workers who used to work in MCIE as well as for the company that manufactures these wind turbines; but also for AA because they will no longer be paying the lease on an empty hangar.

That may be true, but we really don't know what it took to get out of that twenty year lease they signed, now do we?
