Because you airline does not operate in isolation.What happens at 1 airline eventually will have a direct effect at other airlines and this is proven in the history of airlines.

Look what has happened at other legacy carriers that are operating outside of C11 since AA got [ILC's] concessions from their employees in 2003.

I do agree that AA does need to get its own house in order.
