WN to cut PHL-PIT flights

I have an idea lets close PIT down completely (Hangers too), it just isn't in the companies long term interest to keep any of you around. It is so funny how you here so much about how bad PHL is but the real ####'ers and complainers are all in PIT!

Am I invited?

Of course, but be forewarned, I clip my toenails while I make it, so sometimes a few fall in--don't worry though, your stomach acid will kill any foot fungus better than the medication my doctor gave me. I picked it up on an ORF overnight years ago, and haven't been able to get rid of it since.

Interesting observation. You may get your wish before too long, but I don't think it will be just PIT.

UPNAWAY,
I have an idea: Take a night course in English and learn how to spell words correctly along with proper grammar usage. Looking at the posts on this forum it appears that there are a lot of bad spellers and low IQs in PHX.

Betty, that is what Floyd says too! Although I can't remember exactly what he picked up. I do remember how he would leave me and you to dine on Wings and Nachos at the Holiday Inn with those cheap Piedmont captains while he went out and dined on squid. All he talked about back then was squid squid squid. Now all he talks about is his buddy bidder, Craig List. I still haven't met him. And who is this Doc that is staying over at your place? Last chance for romance? Hahahaha . What do you think about my idea for a PIT satellite?

Thank you for saying exactly what I was thinking as I read through this topic.

It is simply amazing that crew members who have been around this long can really be victims of the "It's All About Me" syndrome.
It amazes me how often you attack your fellow crew members in print when you can. I was not referring only to crew members. Let's also consider mechanics, rampers, ticket agents, etc, etc that commute....duh...

My comments applied equally to those "mechanics, rampers, ticket agents, etc, etc that commute" and who are playing the victim role over all of this, act like it has never happened before to anyone else and when it did they were totally oblivious or unsympathetic. SAN, LAX, SFO, INT/GSO, ILM, MIA, ROA, ORF, BWI could all be summarily shut down as crew bases, maintenance bases, mainline-staffed bases and the mecca people thought nothing of it. Now that the old mecca people are affected, it's the end of the world.

Like I said: Get to work as best you can. If you can't, move or quit like thousands of others before you have done.

That is not true, MTC has had stations shutdown before and along side crew bases.

SAN, UCA, ILM, INT, GSO, BUR, ONT, and about a dozen others, we have had commuters from the West Coast since the early 90s.

Don't let the facts get in your way!

I thought that is what I had said. Did you even bother to read my post, or do you just react like this when you see "NYCBusDriver?"

All SW has to do is cancel two flights on a weekday and they will wipe out our TransAtlantic Div. employee wise. Sad but true!
Aren't flight crews required to live within a certain distance from their base? Just asking.

I think instead of having a widebody on the ground in PHL for a couple of hours waiting to turn international, they should have an A330 do a quick PIT turn. This would allow a lot of seats for commuters each way and help make the employees happy.
now that's funny, did you get your med's mixed up...with a brain trust plan like that you may get a job in the marketing dept
