As always you must work SAFE and work SMART. If your equipment doesn't work (PHL) tag it out. 😛h34r:

Safety tip #1

concerning fleet. the corporate safety max speed limit on the ramp is 10 mph and certain areas 5 mph.. adhere to it
it was put in place to protect YOU .

Safety tip #2

concerning fleet. corporate policy is when parking a/c in nighttime/twilight ops you need working lighted wands
that goes for the parker and the 2 wingmen/women

Safety tip #3

concerning fleet....corporate policy states that when working Airbus and B757 all beltloaders must have safety hand rails.

Safety tip # 3

concerning fleet : corporate policy . when marshaling in a/c into the gate . YOU need 3 people . NO exceptions .same for dispatching (pushback) YOU need 3 people NO exceptions.

Safety tip # 4 when working mainline a/c you SHOULD ALWAYS have at least 2 people (in some cases 3 ) in the bin of the a/c
that is for your safety and your fellow co-workers safety

Safety tip #5 All a/c with bin webbing and stanctions , those items need to be in working order as all cargo is to be secure before
closing bin doors. if missing webbing or stanctions are broken contact MTC. this also goes for the straps that hold
the doors up on the Boeings.

STOP , now is not the time. What your going to hit them hard when the loads are LIGHT ?

STOP NOW , and wait until a more critical time ... Do not engage in these Guerilla tactics at this time . Save your rage for when it will count for something .

If you work by the book now, it will show the company you mean business, the best is to do it now, instead of later.

Force them to negotiate in good faith.

Freedom

what rage, these safety guidelines are suppose to be adhered to each and every day .. there not Guerrilla tactics.

I disagree 700 , starting to hit them now when it’s a non critical time will give them time to adjust and react.

Why do you think the company pushed the arbitrator to announce the decision in January instead of December ? Because it’s a non critical time , anything we do now won’t really affect the company all that much . If you on the east could wait all these long months for the decision and we on the west could wait along with you , then I don’t think it’s asking too much for you to wait until after the next company/union meeting is over , at which time , have at it by all means .

We have been there and done that.

Before we went on strike in 1992, we crippled the company's operation, making them not imposing a CBA on us and it lead to getting a better deal than any other group.

This is your first merry go round ride, on the East been doing this since 1949.

As a past members of the negotiating committee, the biggest strength anyone has is to work by the book.

You are very inexperienced with labor-union negotiations and whom you are dealing with in Labor (UN) Relations.

Yes I do acknowledge that , but aren’t you the same person who said this was “in the bag†? experience doesn’t count for everything you know …. I’m not saying what I’m saying to shield my beloved company from harm , I’m saying it , because if your going to carry out an operation , it’s best not to strike until the last possible moment so that your enemy doesn’t have time to bring about adequate defenses . Times have changed 700 , and it’s now time to change the tactics as well . We can communicate almost instantly throughout our entire system , we don’t have to continue to plan the “old way “

700UW
for once we seem to agree !!!!

Freedom having observed your operation in sabre cutoff . I must say you have a LOOOONG way to go before anything

is noticed out there . so not to worry YOU guys keep doing what you do. (not knowing what is in you contract in regards to safety

I will refrain from saying anything else) . meanwhile the EAST needs to start complying with corporate and contract policies

Nothing has changed at US in regard to Labor Relations, you as a workforce let the company do the things they do to you by not drawing a line in the sand.

The only way US learns anything is when you hit them in their wallets.

How many CBAs negotiations have you been through?

In my 18 years at US we went through at least 4 of 5 and the only way to get a fair deal was to work by rule.

When you work by the book it has to be a long drawn out process sustained over time for on the ground employees.

Why dont you listen and learn from people that have been through this many times?

prince

heard about the pit bash .. I see you abided with safety and used a Designated Driver.

Good luck in your future endeavors

If working safe is all you’ve got up your sleeve then you ain’t see nothing yet .. What do you think we’ve been doing here over on the west side ? Sitting in the break room playing gin rummy everyday ? … don’t you think we haven’t planed for this exact scenario to play out ? I’m sure corporate has , but we’ve got the better play book ….

Now I know and everyone else knows that the east’s first reaction will be to throw a temper tantrum , but I urge you to be SMARTER than the company , don’t react as they expect you too … at least not WHEN they expect you too . Please lets not give the company yet ANOTHER win by doing what they will have prepared for ….

I’m not saying don’t act , I’m just saying wait until after the outcome of the jan 22 company union meeting .
