REST IN PEACE ROCCO:
 A K-9 officer that was stabbed earlier this week passed away Thursday night.
Officer Rocco was stabbed in Lawrenceville Tuesday while assisting his handler with an arrest. After two days of fighting for his life, Rocco took a turn for the worse late Thursday afternoon. 
As the entire Pittsburgh police force mourns the K-9 officer's death, funeral arrangements area underway. Officers are wearing black and blue ribbons over their badges Friday to pay tribute to Rocco.
