Working on a logo for the site...

Started playing with AI. It's not quite there yet... but it's still a hoot. It messes up spelling on images all the time... on this one it messed up a lot more than that. Check it out.

That would be great. I'd like AirlineForums.com to be integrated into the logo and 99% of the time, the AI can't spell the words properly.

Try it, you'll see.... AI can't do writing in images very accurately.

I will do what I can. Like I said it is a phone app. It's capabilities are limited.

Sometimes just the ideas that AI come up with are good, then I can hand it off to a real artist. That's how I use AI currently for the most part.

I've updated the site again. We now have 2 new styles to choose from. Both a light and a dark. You can use the Style Chooser at the bottom or by clicking the lightbulb icon in the header. It will switch you back and forth between light and dark.

After 20 years of posting here, I'll admit I check to see if the site is still up every other month or so. And I'd like to get up to 16,000 posts "just because"...

Admittedly, I'm surprised each time.

For the last two years, the only regular conversations have been random items posted by one member, which turns into a circular conversation where five others continually beat up on the original poster.

There's nothing of any value to really engage anyone, which is probably why there hasn't been any new regular members in probably three or four years.

To wit... there have been *20* posts here according to "Recent Activity" in the last 16 days. We used to have 20 an hour.

Personally, I'd have cut my losses five years ago if I owned the domain and had to pay the bills.

It's your money, so do what you will. The day one of my community sites can't cover its costs via either donations, memberships or ad revenue is the day it gets closed down.


On edit: Digging a bit, it looks like maybe Dan finally sold the site? We haven't seen sign of any admins or moderators here for years. The WHOIS changed last month, so perhaps you're a bit late in realizing you got sold some beachfront property in New Mexico...... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this is not the pot of gold you might have been promised.
