I saw their attempt on the 17th but it never appeared he even got off the ground. I believe they said the aircraft did manage to leave terra firma by about an inch but that was it.
I think they balled it up trying too hard to fly on exactly the 100 yr anniversary. A classic case of pilot induced pressure! Should have waited for more ideal conditions. As far as I have heard, they are planning on re building. cj
all i saw was the nose pick up real severe and then ther was some wing drop. i dont think it really would have flown with that much water on the wings anyways. pilot pressure 😱 lucky i dont have to deal with that....yet. Ive done my flight test and have yet to take the written. commercial is a year or two down the road.
ehh.... studying has been at a bare minimum for flying, i have diploma exams to study for so thats kinda put a temorary hold on the flying stuff. havent been in the air since the 23rd. both forms of A.D.D. are kicking in.
