Talk about biting the hand that feeds it!!! It's just a shame we aren't in a position to tell the Chinese to go piss up a rope, as we have virtually no domestic manufacturing capacity left. I suppose this is the price we pay for ultra-cheap 3rd world goods.

Sorry Bear but as much as I would like to pin this on someone the only way to find the guilty party for this is for us to look in the mirror. We are a short sighted nation full of short sighted people. No one looks at how their actions can affect them down line. We are interested in short term satisfaction no matter the cost. My pay to day what can be put off till tomorrow. It shows in our eating habits, spending patterns, and political choices.
The US is turning into a 3rd world nation before our eyes and we are too stupid and too lazy to do a damn thing about it.

Like I keep telling you. I have no allegiances or loyalties. I look at a situation and I evaluate it as best I can.
This is nice.
The cake below was for an employee leaving a company.
Okay, so this is how I imagine this conversation went:
---mart Employee: “Hello ---marts, how can I help you?”
Customer: “ I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week.”
---mart Employee: “What you want on the cake?”
Customer: “Best Wishes, Suzanne” underneath that “We will miss you”.

I don't shop at Walmart, but I DO look for ways to save money. At my grocery store, I bought apple juice...the store brand...I mean apple juice is apple juice, right? Then I noticed while pouring a glass one morning that on the side of the bottle was "Concentrate from China". I don't buy that brand anymore. This deal with paying less....I go round and round with a doctor on another board (he's a right winger, but that really doesn't matter here). He is adamantly opposed to "socialized medicine" because you can't trust the government with your money", and if doctors salaries are "regulated" by the government, nobody will want to become a doctor. I asked him if it bothered him that airline employees have given up pay and benefits, or lost their jobs completely so that he could fly from Atlanta to LA and back for $200. It didn't. He said that airline employees were a "bunch of overpaid union employees". It didn't bother him in the least that people have trouble paying their bills because they took paycuts, nor did it seem to bother him that the plane he was flying on was maintained in a third world country. His response to that? "It meets the FAA standards". I found it ironic that someone who WON'T trust the government when it comes to his own livelihood has no problem trusting the overseers at the FAA when it comes to the plane that is hurtling thru the skies at 600 mph and 7 miles up in the air with him on it. Bottom line...we don't seem to care about the costs involved with giving us cheap products...just as long as WE are not the ones having to pay those costs.

There is absolutely NO over sight from our government for food from China. How in God's name did we allow politicians to start importing our food from a Communist Nation (who's very purpose in life is to dominate us).
Our worse enemies are in Washington...it is they who will destroy the American Republic and it's citizens. We need to activate the use of Treason, and put some bite back into it.
They work on our Airplanes "for cheap".
They sell our children poisonous/toxic toys.
They put poisonous "fillers" in old food, then sell it to America.
The Chinese Peoples Liberation Communist Army is the main criminal working 24/7 poking/hacking for weakness in our cyber defenses around the world.
The list goes on...They WILL make their move one day, and it will be no ones fault but ours thanks to corporate greed and Washington sleeping together.
