The DC-10 was designed specifically to satisfy AA's requirement that it be able to operate at LGA.

Remember those days well. I've got photos of AA, NA (National), and DL DC-10s at LGA in 1973.
Yes, Delta operated 10s for a few years while they were waiting for their delayed L-1011s.
No RJs back then!

Spent many a cold night working on those pigs at LGA. They flew them into LGA into the 90s. The 10 was much better when you had a hangar to work in.

NICE TRY!! Don't you even know the difference between a 747 and a DC10?? NOT!!
 
Makes you wonder which is which. I always thought a dc-10 had 1 engine on each wing and 1 in the back. The plane in the picture had 2 engines on each wing and none in the back.

False information doesn't do give credibility to anyone.
