FAA to Re-certify 737 MAX

It's going to take a while to run pilots thru the schoolhouse, plus time to take them out of storage and do whatever checks are now possibly overdue from a calendar vs. hours/cycles basis. March 1 still seems plausible and practical.

Oh, I didn't mean from a practical standpoint such as you outlined. I meant the FAA recertification was announced to be "in coming weeks." The maintenance and checks to make them airworthy comes after the recertification, does it not? Would maintenance put in that much time and effort until they had a for sure, positive, no crossed fingers behind your back certification?

I was answering Dell -- they'll stay out of schedule for the next 100 days or so to take care of all the resumption activities I mentioned.

But you're absolutely correct -- none of that gets set in motion until the ink is dry on recertification....
