Again, not a bad idea- and one that has been done in a few places- but that's a reactive option, not a proactive one.metopower said:Kev... No excuses for safety violations. OSHA...Great suggestion and quicker too.

Dozens of IAM Delta activists and IAM representatives, including Flight Attendants on the staff off the IAM's Strategic Resources and Education Department, met this week in Atlanta, GA for a series of strategy meetings and a visibility event at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
“I’d like to thank all the activists who came from all over the country to meet here in Atlanta,” said IAM Delta Flight Attendant Mat Trent. “We had very productive meetings and set forth a strategic plan to achieve our goal of filing for and ultimately winning an election for IAM representation.”
Dozens of activists hand-billed at the airport after the meetings, covering every door at the terminal and down in the crew lounges. They were very well received by Delta Flight Attendants who signed election authorization cards and asked how they could help the campaign.
“Delta Flight Attendants are ready for union representation,” said IAM Delta Flight Attendant Adam Dennisoff. “What a great week. We are energized to make history.”
Sounds to me like some peeps need a babysitter to show them the correct way to fasten a seat belt!Kev3188 said:A viable safety committee can't happen soon enough.
If someone doesn't have the proper equipment to perform their duties, whose fault is it?southwind said:So tell me Kev, if a ramp employee, is cited for not wearing a seat belt, or not wearing the correct shoes for the job during an audit, who's fault is it?
So... DL isn't providing seatbelts, and now it's not the employee's responsibilities to buy their own footware?blue collar said:If someone doesn't have the proper equipment to perform their duties, whose fault is it?
