Lil' Kim & Us Airways F/a Go At It

The Clintons fly the shuttle all the time and are very personable. We had Bill taking pictures with the crew once. Hillary, a class act! Those were the days.

Steadman Graham... thought he was the cat's ass.. doesn't treat people very well..

Christina Alguilera is lovely, very chatty and sweet. Since she's from PIT, she had a friend who's a F/A.

And pretty much everyone has had Richard Simmons on thier flight, he must be an Airways fan. He puts on an apron and helps out with the service and brings treats for the crew. The whole cabin becomes the Richard Simmons show...

MC Hammer had a sour face on him because he didn't get a first class seat one time.

Didn't something happen with Eminem one time?

I wonder what Lil Kim was wearing... maybe her little pasties? I love how the F/A couldn't care less who she was... and with the current age make-up of our F/As I'm not surprised she'd never heard of her.

I would have said "Why yes, you're a foul-mouthed has-been rapper semi-famous for Diana Ross grabbing your boob at an awards show. I also understand you're about to go to jail for lieing about a shooting, and you've had so much plastic surgery you look like a cat. Am I right? Good, now sit down."

I heard Stone was a regular on US Airways until he got "mobbed" in SDF. Appearantly a female sup there has the hots for him - and continually looses his bag so it can be personaly delivered to him.

One day I was working a LAX-LAS flight and noticed the manifest had Florence Henderson flying in coach. We were all worried about calling attention to her so we stayed quiet as she preboarded. Forget that, within seconds she was saying hi to a good 20% of the folks on the plane. She was as gracious as could be.

At the end of the flight, a gal sitting in the last row asked, was that Mrs. Brady? Yup, that was her.

I recently had Alicia "Keys" on my flight from LAX-JFK. She was the rudest person in first class. I'm glad I worked the population on that flight!! When are Purser asked her what she wanted to eat, she would tell her bodyguard and then he would tell the Purser. She thought she was too damn good to answer a flight attendant.

Stevie Nicks did the same thing to my wife (UAL F/A), and when she was a new-hire, she heard horror stories about Lucille Ball.

Several years ago Guns n Roses guitarist Slash(Saul Hudson) urinated in the front galley of a 727 , it was around the the time of the Piedmont/USAir merger . Part of the sentence the Judge imposed was to pay for the cleaning of the aircraft and write a letter of apology to each crewmember on the flight .

That one was my fault, at least according to the band's travel agent. F was full and the travel agent called to try to get F overbooked. I had a nice talk with inventory, but at that time we NEVER overbooked F for any reason, so Salsh was stuck in Y while the rest of the band was in F. The agent's last comment to me was "I'm not sure he'll be happy."

Hi Art--I see you're up late.
Bill Pinkney and the Original Drifters fly U all of the time. I made a reservation for them when I was a new hire at PI. Got invited to the concert in Atlantic City. Got to meet everyone---low and behold married the musical director and took him away from the band---now has his own band. They're still friends and any time Bill calls here he still calls me (((((Piedmont. That's how they had me paged at the hotel to check on their return flight. They're all very nice and say hi to them next time you see them.

Rode in first class one time with Kareem Abdul Jamar, Warren Moon, Marcus Allen and their agent. They were all really great. Everyone gave me an autograph for my son but Kareem. He said he wasn't allowed to---but when I said that's okay my hubby's famous too and I understand--told him who hubby is--well, as we were landing he reached up---didn't stand up---opened the overhead and took out his coat--still never moved out of his seat. Took out a pen and gave me his autograph. Seems his are sold at athletic signing events. He was very nice--as were the rest and we had a good time introducing everyone to hubby when we got off.
Rick Flair--who used to play for the Jets==was doing a show at one of the casinos and was just rude as all get out. I just walked up to him and said, "aren't you the Rick Flair who played football and couldn't hang?" he really didn't like that but had to get back at him for the cocktail waitress he had just manhandled.

Here's our girl getting a hug from Mary "No MOre Drama" Blige before she goes to jail.

Back in my HP gate agent days I met Gladys Knight's oldest son, who has since tragically passed away. I got to know him pretty well during the 90s. She's my all time favorite singer, and I really enjoyed serving her on those LAX-LAS flights back then. Really sweet, classy lady.
