From what I read between the lines of the email that 700UW received. I see the old, money for jobs mentality. We all at AA knows how this has always played out. The company gets it's cake and eats it too.
 
Screw it, I want the money, seven weeks of vacation, double time, double and a half for holidays worked, flex vacation, all 10 previous holidays we had and profit sharing!
 
One more thing, I don't want to hear the old cries of "we can't ask for that, it will cost the company too much money" or " don't you want your butt time? if we ask for those wages, you won't get your butt time". I've heard those kinds of comments from our union leaders over the past 29 years and I'm freaking tired of it.

You should have taken care of that years ago. You screwed AirCal and you screwed TWA. Get over it. You will get what the majority vote for. Period

Now how many times have we all heard that? Owning the board has nothing to do when you should realize not every topic pertains to you. Your all over these boards especially the AA board talking about what you did, who you did it with, how much you contributed and so on. By now a normal person would have realized that most of us don't care, but you persist like a spoiled kid. You preach IAM virtually everywhere you post. The Delta folks obviously don't want a union but yet you persist on telling them how much better off they are. Maybe they are happy without union representation. Did that ever occur to you? How are the IAM drives progressing at Delta, United, Alaska and Jetblu? How do feel about the association with the passenger service agents at the new AA? Don't hear you talk much about them. You mentioned that you worked for the IAM during the Teamsters drive. You fought against the Teamsters raid to save the IAM. Safe to say you hate the Teamsters? How come you don't talk bad about the Teamsters with the CWA/IBT association? Kind of hypocritical, don't you think? Ever wonder why when you post on Aircraft maintenance issues people become hostile?

We tell him the same thing on the DL boards. He doesn't work for an airline and, supposedly doesn't get paid by the IAM, which I find hard to believe! Dude needs a life!

Speak for yourself. We have all been in different situations. None are alike. How you assimilate yours vs mine or whoever is Bogus.

Most of you will never understand that these Socialists who promote equal wages just because we are in the same union, really believe what they are saying. 
 
We mechanics are always saying they are riding on our coattails? Better get with the program, they own your coattails.
 
All the way from the AFL-CIO, the the Internationals of the TWU and IAM and their Transport Divisions, to the Locals.

Do THEIR decisions impact you? If not, maybe you need to stay out of THEIR decisions!
