Obama dumping illegals into AZ!

While some of the stuff you hear on the national radio shows gets a bit extreme, I'd rather hear the occasional extremist than simply trust whatever the alphabet networks try to pass along as facts and the truth...
Unless what the alphabet networks say is remotely connected to something you agree with. Then you post a link.

Hey, you can argue the pros and cons of talk radio shows vrs. alphabet soup networks all you what, but let's not forget that these are peoples lives that president obama is playing politics with! And tax payer's money wasted, both State, and Federal at a time neither can afford it!

Funny it seems many of you forget how the US Government works, everyone forget about Congress?

Nope, haven't forgotten about Congress, but it doesn't help much when just about every bill that the House sends to the Senate eventually goes nowhere. That's fixable come November.

The hard fact is we should have had the border fence years ago, and this problem would be persisting. Once the fence was proven to work at slowing down the number of illegals entering, Democrats did everything they could to make sure it was defunded. That happened while Bush was still in office.

Now you are worried about taxes?  Between 2006 -09 the Customs and border protection spent $2.4 billion on 640 miles of single layer fencing.  The current GOP idea is a double layer fence.  That means more land and more labor to build.  Never mind that the US/MX border is 1,900 miles long (hint: 700 is less than 1,900).  The GAO computed an avg cost of a little under $4 million a mile.  This is just the cost to build it.  No one talks about the cost to patrol and maintain it.

Why not go after the companies who hire illegal workers?  If there are no jobs why make the trip here?  Could it be that the business community has their hands so far up the GOP/DNC that it is not in their best interest to actually do something about the border issue?  Better to waste an obscene amount of money to various corporations who will build the boondoggle (you know it will cost more than advertised) than actually come up with a viable solution.

And you are worried about the taxes wasted on this small cluster phuck?

So you are in favor of murdering unarmed people crossing a border?  Great idea.

Damn!----- I never thought that there would be something that we could aree on! But along with enforcing the current laws on employement of illegals, what is needed is a realistic green card program, and for political reasons, it would seem this administration does not want any part of either!

Tree, it would seem that those is South America might know something we don't. With this new rush of desperation to get into the U.S., maybe they feel there maybe a change in things in the near future? Do you think?

Uh, e-Verify seemed to do a pretty good job of verifying eligibility to work, but the Democrats hate it.

Examples:

Arizona required it for all companies doing work with the state, as do another dozen typically Red states.

California passed a state law prohibiting cities and counties from making it mandatory; Illinois tried to make it illegal (DHS sued the State and won) for employers to use it.

Green cards?... One thing at a time, thanks. I never seen my employer have a problem getting work visas or green cards for nationals of other countries who have come to work here, with one exception, and his was a matter of his birth nationality being different from the country where he grew up and got his original student visa. We eventually got all that worked out with a good lawyer.
