" People need to Work LONGER Hours " : Jeb Bush !

Apologist?

Or drone?

Seriously, Dude, you're like one of those Movie Aliens, or probably more like the Mermaid, who learn to speak by watching earthling TV -- Only your TV was permanently stuck on Fox and all you ever learned was Rogerisms.

All those costs going up from government intervention via regulation.

Yeah I'm sure it's much cheaper to dump right into the rivers, stream, lakes, oceans and air.

Is it OK if government regulates your pay?
Dell said all of those things cited were because of government regulations.  If government regulations made CEO pay skyrocket, then hell maybe we should deregulate.

Interesting that the year was 1978 on that poster.  Back then, pretty much every airline employees pay was regulated by the government.  Back then - a person working for an airline was envied....good pay, free flights...living was good.  Then they deregulated.  Fortunately, that was almost 40 years ago, so anyone who remembers those days is most likely retired.  Folks like you almost have the airline industry back to "yassah boss" days.

Is CEO pay regulated?

Dell seems to indicate that it is.  He said All those costs going up from government intervention via regulation.  So I can only assume that CEO pay going up 937% is because of some regulation.   And he may be right...we tried to address skyrocketing CEO pay, so they did and end run and tied CEO pay to Stock Options.  If the CEO is rewarded with stock options, and a $2 bump in the stock price can earn him 20 million more....who cares if we lay off a couple of thousand employees....get that two bucks and take it to the bank..
