It’s easy to make accusations and fortunately in a Union it’s also easy to verify if the accusations are true or not since the Government closely monitors Union activities and finances.
One need only check the DOL LM2 for both TWU Local 591 and the TWU International to see if the name Gary Peterson shows up twice and has been compensated?
I’ve done it many times. I checked when TWU International President John Samuelsen first won to see if he was double dipping keeping the Local 100 spot and he was not. He received his International stipend and had $0.00 next to his 100 President LM2.
I also saw how my Local 568 President was gifted a $13,000 increase to his stipend and shared that with our Membership here in MIA.
