Some FA's don't know they got a pay raise.

"investing in some Xanax" you seem to know the benefits.

You sound like an LG minion who is really bitter.

Apparently, according to you Xanax will fix all your problems.

Ever hear of EAP?

They are the ones that are squarely responsible for whatever issues the USAir peeps are having.
APFA as OUR union, is squarely responsible for not only representing AA's interests but also LUS...
and TWA, AirCAl, Reno and anyone else I left out.

Do you remember this union's history?

IORFA,

You represent the fossilized APFA that can't deal with anything important.

You are living in the past and will be relegated to the pathetic history of
APFA.

You have nothing to show for your elitist views except for a Xanax  induced diatribe.

Get over yourself.

You serve drinks just like I do.

Visit your all powerful EAP.

You deserve it.

You've paid the price to express your displeasure about your current situation.

Does LG get to claim the company offered Lifetime First class passes?

In your past corporate life does that sound anything like a  bribe for the oppositions union leader? The current candidates seem to reject this "perk".

What do you say?

Is that a bribe or not in your opinion?

Hypothetically, if you were working a flight and Laura boarded and sat in First Class what would you do?

You sound bitter against AA and APFA. if you think you have been wronged so bad and go to work to get annoyed even further, by you staying at AA makes you a fool.

By working your schedule you are basically a part time employee making $47k a year at a job that requires no more then high school diploma. Remember there are tens of thousands of applications on file looking forward to takeing your job that you think is so horrible.

Enjoy your pay raise next week, that will put you over $56 an hour to sit on your jumpseat and not provide the service that the procedures call for, because you don't feel like it. (You seem the type)

AFAIK, all outgoing APFA presidents get that perk.  For some reason, your panties are in a wad because Laura got it.  Do YOU know if she is using it?  No, you don't.  You're just p*ssed because YOU didn't get it.  I really think for the sake of your stomach lining you need to find a job where you can be happy.  Life is way to short to work at a job that keeps you tied in knots 24/7.  Reality:  The job of f/a at AA is NEVER going to measure up to what you think it should be.  The contract is NEVER going to contain the things that you think it ought to.  Evidently, you never captured that AA Pilot husband you were after when you started.  Or worse, maybe you did.  Deal with it.

You are the perfect example of the Jurassic APFA.

You know the one's who cheapened everything at AA - Laura Glading savior of
AA because she was so close to that sh**ty management.

You may need more Xanax than what you already do.
How well was AA doing before this sh**ty management took over? Billions later you now have job security and your W2 will be the highest it's been in yrs. a little adjustment in attitude would bode well for you.

Great post Jim! Remember, it isn't just the president that gets this "perk". It is actually company policy that you keep your travel classification in effect when you retire. All Union officers that get positive space travel would keep it if they retired while they had the positive space travel privilege. Not just the President, but the VP, SEC, TREASURER and so forth. For the small minded folks, you know who you are, this probably blows your mind. The biggest mind blower is that it is also encompasses ALL other work groups Union officers as well! Laura isn't the first president OR union officer to retire and keep this policy benefit. She also won't be the last. If the policy gets your panties in a bunch, contact your previous management. They're the only ones that can change it. The unions can't stop anyone from using a benefit that is available to anyone as a corporate policy.

For wrap up of this thread, the FAs are enjoying their third raise putting them over $56 a flight hour. The mechs and FSCs are still working under BK contract.

ONLY FAs get to non rev on jump seats,
ONLY flt crew get to NON REV on other airlines, just have to walk up and ask

FAs part time hours, full time pay and health insurance. Yeah your Union and company are really sticking it to you.

Remember when you are on your complaining soap box, the others are just waiting for you stop complaining so they can do their job in a professional manner as usual.
