I'm curious as to what kind of field team NWA is going to send to fetch and repair that 747 in Guam? All their best structures people are walking the picket line. Replacements? Ha! They would'nt even know what a rivet looks like.

They are line AMT's. Sounds like this bird has strutural damage...

Doesn't NW have a maintainence base (hangar) in NRT?

I admit I don't know anything about NWA's operation, but I'm pretty sure NRT AMT's are LINE AMT's.

Rumor here has it that a team was dispatched out of seattle. I don't know who made up the team nor have I been able to verify this.

I don't think it's a "base" per se, but I'm pretty sure they have some facilities beyond Line Maintenance (I seem to remember them doing a gear swing awhile back, but could be way off).

Anyone know?
