A330 Debut Ahead Of Schedule?

Just read on another, not always reliable, source that NW's first revenue A330 service will be tomorrow (Aug 25), operating NW54 DTW-AMS. This would be about a week ahead of the previously-announced date of Sept 2.
Any confirmation on this?

That is correct according to our reservation system. Shows it departing at 1910 lcl with a full load.

Thanks! It should be pushing back right about now (it's 1610MST). Wonder how many on board will even notice they're on a brand new airplane, let alone new aircraft type? B)

FWIW,

I happened to see one your new A330's on taxi-out at FRA several weeks ago. It had just landed and was inbound for the gate. I'd assumed it was already in service. I now assume this was an OE flight for the crew.

In any event, it was a good looking airplane, especially with your new livery.
