A350 Jet Plans

In severe weather, there's no aircraft I'd rather be in than a 757. The thing is built like a brick ****house.

So far as I can tell, "overpowered" is a feature, not a bug. Of course, the 757 is a narrowbody, same upper-fuselage cross section as the 707, 720, 727, 737, etc. That's just the way it is. Only other criticism I'd have of the 757 is that it's slow.

I didn't mean to disparage the "overpower" feature. It's nice. If I were on a twin jet airplane that was gonna blow an engine at rotation, there's no other airplane in the world I'd rather be on than a 757. No question, the 757's power is nice. That's why I mentioned it. The rest is crap, IMHO.

we took 6 757 from republic airlines they were only a few years old northwest didn't want them with rolls engines, we took 1 new that was an eastern order they didn't take then we took 4 more new that were our orders then 3 used junk from eastern after they went under.

The 6 RC 757's are N901AW (AZ Theme) (ex N601RC), N902AW(ex N602RC), N903AW(exN603RC), N904AW(exN604AW), N905AW (Ohio Theme) (ex605RC), AND N906AW(exN606RC)

The one new EA is N907AW, which is scheduled to leave the fleet in March 06, unless there are changes to the 757 fleet plan.

The 3 new HP 757's (delivered in 1988-89) are N908AW (AZ Cardinals theme), N909AW, N910AW. These are the EOW aircraft for initial Hawaii service.

The three junker EA's are N913AW, N914AW, and N915AW(Neveda Theme)
