Bob Owens writes; No response again CIO? Come and defend the track record that you speak of.

Hey Bob how would you like to be in his shoes defending an organization which is already dead... Sad part is alot of the dead don't know it so they wander about mouthing the tired slogans of the last century, another time and another place..
How much could you really expect from a person that hides his identity.. I think we had him pegged a long time ago ...... Keep up the good work Bob.

Thanks Jim;
Did you see the latest seniority list? For our class and craft it shows 14421!!
Title I 11816
Title II 2264
Title IV 131
SimTechs 118
TechSvcs 92
Basically the TWU and AA made sure that Aircraft Maint took the entire hit as far as jobs. Ironic when they were threatening to get rid of Title II. Just goes to show that they were already shorthanded and could not afford to really lose any of them, never mind contracting them out.
14421 ! Thats over 2000 less than when TWA and AA were merged! How many were there at TWA by the way? Basically we have the same as we had before. So we have the same amount of mechanics but three overhaul bases, and more routes. How can that be? Oh yea, we all work an extra week a year, for much less pay. So we have less workers, making less pay, working more. Great job TWU!
I'll never forget how the TWU officers and AA management cheered at Koziateks retirement party when Carty announced that his gift to the TWU in recognition of Koziateks retirement would be thousands of new members.
So if the company and the TWU are claiming that we have 18600 that means we actually have over 4000 people on layoff!! Plus all those that retired, quit etc and were not replaced, figure another 1500.
That means that in addition to losing over 20% of our compensation we also lost 25% of the jobs! Using their numbers.
In reality we lost a lot more jobs than the TWU is admitting even without the inflated numbers.
