First of all why would I run against Delle? I think he is doing a good job. Second of all we are not in AMFA yet. Thirdly, when was I ever defeated in an election? I only ran twice, won by 'wide margins' (figured you would like that phrase) both times so I guess the membership was not worried about my girth or using the Treasury for Krispy Kremes.

So what's the story with you? Ever been elected? Ever lose an election? Or are you too chicken to run so you act like the local jester in the hopes of winning favor with those who were? Do they let you hang out in the basement, you know, act like one of the guys?

Wide margin huh? We'll leave that alone Bob. How many votes did you get Bob, how many voted? A wide margin could mean 7 out of 10 votes, impressive. Bob I have 16 years as a steward but have never ran for an officer postion. I like the floor as a steward.

Now maybe I'm just getting the wrong impression of you Bob, but I see you as an elected (ousted failure) official of a group of guys sitting around a lunch table...am I way off here?

NightWatch, obviously you would like to change the subject because you cannot answer the questions about the ever eroding mechanics pay. Although you portray typical twu behavior patterns perhaps you could at least try and take a stab at it???

Sound familiar Nightwatch? So this is your version of the TWU response to "members" concerns? So since you dont think that you, or the TWU, can deliver a response that could change anyones mind you simply choose to not respond.

Again, on the subject of this thread, "20 years of declining real pay", what does the TWU have to say for its self? "Its the members fault"? In other words the TWU has no plan to change our 20 year downward progression. They will continue to trade off wages and benifits while giving themselves more. They will lead us into the gutter then curse us for following them there, in the meantime they will continue to do everything in their power to deny us the power to pick our leaders or our union.

This thread was started to try and distort the pay we are receiving as AMT's at AA.

Today the majority of us are in the top third in wages in the industry. Translates to this, As united, NWA and others comtinue to lose their jobs they will be starting out in the bottom 20% in wages. Most will never again reach the wages we receive today!!!
