Has AA announced what the plans are for the 12 pair slots they are getting from Jetblue?

Any know if DOT approved the swap between AA and B6 or they went through with the swap?

In conjunction with the slot announcement, Arpey said that AA and American Eagle Airlines will add 23 flights to seven destinations from JFK and LGA. At JFK, new services comprise twice-daily flights to Fort Lauderdale and increased daily frequencies to Orlando International, Miami and Las Vegas beginning in November. Eagle will launch double-daily ERJ service to both Indianapolis and Cincinnati and a daily service to Norfolk by year end.

It would appear that AMR is just as happy being in the passenger seat and allowing B6, BA, IB and the rest of our One World ( partners ) to take over our least profitable or slots with the most competition. Therefore allowing AMR to concentrate on those slots to places where they can exploit as in South America and the Caribbean.

B6 will soon upgrade to One World.

New company slogan,

AA goes there, but really doesn't.

Or:

You think you have a job, but you really don't.
