You're exactly right. The person who did this deserves no mercy. While I oppose the death penalty (and I don't know if Michigan even has it), I certainly hope the man who did this gets life without parole.

According to this article, there is no evidence that the killing was abortion related or that the suspect was a 'pro-abortion' activist. He is also wanted in connection with the death of the owner of a gravel company.

I guess we will have to see what the investigation turns up.
