He went from being a line F/A to LECP to MECP in about 1 year. I'm sure he recieved all the knowledge he would need in 1 year at the LECP in order to do MECP. It was like he never was in CLT. I guess he was our interim LECP, between S. Hearn and A. Crawley. That was a waste of an election. He basically beat someone who had no chance of being re-elected. However, he is a good jounalist, as is J. McCorkle.

just a normal F/a Working the line... I can Tell you that as a normal fa/ working the line... I see Mike on at least one of my flights once a month working CLT PHX ... and doing a great job.... he has a repore w/ the AWA folks in PHX.... and they respct him....
Cant say that w/ any of the other's except...maybe the DCA AFA people...

give these people a break... and if you don't like what they are doing... you try it... 24 7... and get paid...for oh 90 hours....

As an East furloughee and ex-MAA, I accepted a recall to PHX and spent 6 months there. For four and a half months I tried to get my mother and domestic partner on my travel pass, but got nowhere. To say that I was frustrated would be an understatement. When I brought my situation to the attention of Mike Flores and Gary Richardson, it was taken care of in one week. Both of them were very accessible, concerned and timely in communicating with me. I have nothing but the highest regard for the both of them and AFA.

Gary Richardson should be the combined MEC President in my view. He is always very nice and communicates with his memebers. I get info from AFA66 and a week later if I am lucky, that same info comes out on the East Eline.

I'm sorry about your profit sharing. If it's any consolation, I haven't recieved anything yet for my time at MAA in 2006, nor will I recieve anything for my 6 months in PHX as I left AWA in September.

I also wanted to clarify something about your interpretation of my post. My mother and dp were already on my Term Pass and had been for 6 & 5 years respectively. HP choose not to honor that and made me jump through hoops, as they twarted every effort that I made, to try to get them on my HP Travel Pass. If you take into consideration that corporate mindset, you'd have to assume that Mike Flores and Gary Richardson were severely frustrated and overworked with what they already had on their plate. Yet, they somehow found the time for my problem and took up my case with diligence. I thought that was extraordinary.

Is this the same Gary Richardson that helped the union lie to its members about the seniority issues? He is the SAME as Flores. Also not credible and has absolutely NOOOOO power and the company couldn't be the least bit scared of either of them. We need someone NEW all together. Fixing a snafu with your travel pass doesn't make you a good MEC.

If Gary had told the truth to his members out West they would have recalled him within days. they didn't want to hear it. And his job as the MEC President is to fight for his members no matter how small the chance. Don't you agree? I think comparing him to Flores is an insult. Two different leagues and Gary could represent me anytime.

Lucky for you...they are both competing for MECP seat and need the support of the f/as from East and West to keep it. Its eventually only going to be held by one person...and it may not even be either of them.
