AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today announced the airline will expand its route map from Chicago's Midway International Airport by adding new nonstop flights to Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The two nonstop daily flights to and from Charlotte will begin May 9, 2006, and will be served by the airline's popular Boeing 717 aircraft.
Additionally, the airline will begin its sixth daily flight to Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport from Chicago, also beginning May 9, 2006.
