I’m not ignoring it. But you’re ignoring that we didn’t have a promised vote and absolutely 100% that stirred up a lot of animosity and resentment that will always linger.

Those are facts too NYer.

Don't ignore that at all. The fact is the NMB certified the Association without the need for a vote, they're the body that calls for one. It wasn't a TWU decision.

Considering the alternatives, the Association was the best resolution even if it's currently a bit dysfunctional.

Nope. I’m saying that you have to put everything into context and not just cherry pick an item here and an item there.

What he means is that he supports the current Admin so he tries to protect them and their decisions by bringing things up from the past regime. We're in 2018 and he wants to bring up a point from 2013 and not really give the same wight to things that happened from 2014 to now that have more bearing to current situation.

NYer going back nothing has changed in my mind. Under the parameters it would have had with the “No Union” option if the NMB ordered a needed vote, I’m glad we didn’t have to vote.

But c’mon yea we should have had one before they even formed the Association and without that the TWU at the time was NOT so stupid to know we probably weren’t going to have to vote if little old me figured it out when I read the filing stating the need wasn’t there.

But we’re back in the weeds here again aren’t we.

Oh here we go again.

IAM tried to raid us to pressure an Association
Pressure worked and Daddy Trumka told Little to play nice.
Association announcement made
We were told we’d get to vote
Gary Peterson tried to sue to get out of it
Little announced retirement.
Lombardo and team beat Gordon and team
Lombardo and Samuelson hated Association
The IAM blew the TWU off to talk about issues
They supported the IAM standalone talks then
IAM got that standalone
The IAM blew the TWU off to talk about issues
The TWU blew the IAM off to reconcile
Tim Klima tried to tell our President’s to ignore Lombardo.
TWU President’s told Klima to piss off
Lombardo sent a letter to Delaney saying WTF man
Eventually Association was certified without a vote and then
Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah.

The timelines might be off as they’re beginning to get blurry over time now because frankly who the F cares anymore.

Blah Blah Blah Blah.

Usually when trying to escape current misteps you seem to revert to the old stand-by and point fingers elsewhere.

No fine print but the offer does look enticing to a TWU member.Easy 70-80k a year

VOTE YES on JCBA and Vote YES Often. .

TWU Folks are NOW getting MOST of what We wanted.

No I said that this far in it seems like it’s YOU who needs to keep looking in the rearview mirror. Why?

I COMPLETELY find fault in 4 areas in alphabetical order.

American Airlines Management
International Association of Machinists
Transport Workers Union
And all those miserable, greedy, emotional little People period. (You and I being two of them)

If the language passes the smell test Maybe.
Although I think the association should come back with maybe 43% outsource and a look back in year 3 on wages and adjust if needed. Also a me too on any medical gains made by pilots or fa's..
The International Union will lose revenue over time with attrition so they will be reluctant to bring it as a TA.

BTW readers I HATE dredging up all this past F’n bullchit. Doesn’t matter who pushed it out of their ass it all smells like chit.

If it looks like chit, and smells like chit, it’s probably chit.

I just learned some disturbing news about exactly why we are at a standstill. And to think both CB and Rez continue to butter the ball of all of us, they have fooled everyone on here. This may not have come to be a big surprise to many but, the truth of the matter is that the IAM, is holding up the wheels progress. With 6 negotiators on each side, there is one one to break a tie. Because the IAM feel no love for this concessionaire contract. Namely the medical. I for one couldn’t care less weather the membership at LUS keep it or not. The membership did strike gold when the merger was announced and have have enjoyed that benefits of that longer than the LAA side, now that our pay has been increased, we at LAA still haven’t all the other financial benefits that LUS have been getting all this time. A compromise would be let the folks at LUS continue to enjoy the medical, for the same amount of time we have been deprived of that nice double time and half. Don’t trust what the association is telling you, it’s a lie, and don’t trust a word from any IAM member claiming to be in the know.
